It had been a rather busy evening, and Fe, dressed in a short silver dress with high silver boots and arm bracelets of the same colour on one arm, had, after three short sets, numerous requests from two sweethearts on a date, an elderly couple celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary and two young men who were fans of Fe's and quite often showed up to hear her sing either at the Fox Hole, or like tonight, at the House of Volkov; decided to sing one last song before she retired for the evening. As much as she loved singing, it was time to take a much-needed break and just kick back and enjoy herself for the evening.

Smiling then at the new guy who was accompanying her on the piano, she asked him then just to put on a song for her from her private tracks, deciding then to sing something from her own collection. The Volkovs allowed her to sing pretty much what she wanted, and so she always chose a good variety of modern, classic and her own music.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, one last song to add to your dining experience at the House of Volkov. I do hope you enjoy this song, it's one of my personal favourites, and was written for me by a very talented songwriter, who is also a very dear friend of mine," Fe explained as she then stepped back a bit and started singing a song titled, Do We Even Matter. Her voice carrying easily throughout the entire restaurant.

Tuesday had been making the rounds, checking out various venues to see if she should add them to the places she frequented. She wasn't a performer, well... not in the 'get up on a stage' sort of way. She like to think she could be fairly entertaining to some people.

Regardless, she was sitting in this fairly nice restaurant with a drink after having finished a light meal. But really her attention had been on the woman in silver filling the whole room with her voice. Tuesday wasn't a regular or a fangirl, but she liked what she heard for sure.

Tuesday wasn't dressed particularly fancy that night. Just tight black leggings under a black skirt and shirt. Her leather boots and jacket were a touch fancier maybe but she made a habit of not buying overpriced name brand crap.

She had turned in her seat, sipping at her drink as she followed the singer's movements. Where others had made requests, Tuesday had been content to just watch and listen. Then, as the song wrapped up she clapped. Well, clapped her left hand against her right arm anyway since that was the best she could do. Tuesday leaned over to catch the attention of a waiter and gestures towards Fe, "Here, a round of whatever she wants to drink. I think she's earned it." With that she handed over some money and let them go bring the good news.

As Fe was getting off the stage to go back to her dressing room and change, a young waiter approached her and whispered something softly to her, gesturing towards one area of the restaurant.

Glancing around the place now curious, Fe looked for who the waiter had described. It wasn't at all strange that people bought her drinks during or after sets. However, it was somewhat strange when the person buying, was actually a young woman.

Spotting after a few seconds exactly who the waiter was describing, sitting all by herself, alone at a table for two. Fe then smiled, and told the waiter to bring her a vodka cocktail that the restaurant was famous for, and bring it to the table where the young woman was seated.

Fe then walked over to the table, stopping twice to greet people as she made her way back to where the woman was seated, "May I sit down?" Fe asked amicably, not seeing anybody with her, but cautious just the same. "I wanted to thank you for the drink. It's not often a woman buys me a drink," she told her honestly.

Tuesday watched the waiter go to deliver the good news to the singer with amusement. Honestly she hadn't meant to make a big deal out of it, she really had just thought she deserved a free drink. But, she smiled as she noticed the woman start heading her way. Fe was pretty attractive, and Tuesday already knew her voice was amazing. She wondered what else she could learn about her.

Tuesday nodded and gestured to the open seat with her right arm. "Be my guest, you must want to sit down after that performance of yours," she offered as she slid her own drink to the side so it wouldn't be in the way. She wasn't waiting for anyone in particular to join her.

She looked at Fe for a moment before cracking a smile, "you might be going to the wrong bars for your drinks then. I could give a few recommendations if you want." She was right that most often it was guys buying a cute girl drinks but Tuesday didn't feel weird about it. It wasn't the first woman she had bought a drink for and wouldn't be the last. "I thought you deserved a drink though, really. That voice of yours is really something," she added completely honestly. Plus it really seemed to push all the silence out of the room when she crooned and that was something Tuesday really appreciated.

Fe chuckled as she pulled out the chair and took a seat at the table. "You mean bars full of lecherous, drunk men aren't the most fashionable places to hang out?" Fe asked innocently, though from her expression one could clearly tell she was joking. "Geez, and here I thought I was doing it right," she sighed, "maybe I do need to find better hangouts," she said with a deliberately confused frown.

After a second though, Fe started laughing, unable to keep up the dumb girl act, "Yes, I do need a drink. It has been an amazingly long evening, and thank you for the compliment. It's always nice to know when somebody has enjoyed the show," she explained as she tucked some hair out of her face and looked at the attractive woman in front of her, her gaze lightly running over her, curious now.

"I'm Fe, by the way," she said in a friendly tone, "Aurora is just my stage name," she told the girl as her drink arrived at the table.

Tuesday shared in the chuckling as Fe sat down across from her at the small table. "Mm I guess those places do have certain... charms.. sometimes. But yes, I do believe a minor adjustment could do you some good," she offered quietly with a mostly straight face, but her eyes belied the fact that she was certainly just playing along.

Tuesday smiled a little as she noticed the woman looking her over. Fair was fair, since she had done that herself as the singer was performing and then again as she come over to sit down. Even ignoring the outfit designed to be attractive for a show, she could see that Fe herself was quite good looking.

"I always enjoy a good show," she stated as she took a sip of her drink. "Even better when I get to tell the performer face to face how much I liked watching them." She was being completely honest and yet also playing with her a little bit. That was kind of just her style though. The elemental symbol for fire wasn't proudly displayed on her choker necklace for nothing.

Tuesday looked over at the waiter dropping of the drink and gave them a smile before continuing the conversation. "Fe, that's an interesting name... I like it. My name is Tuesday, like the day of the week" she said casually. Her own name was a little unusual but she had grown attached rather quickly after picking it up. You could say it fit her long before she had been called by it.

Fe grinned when she commented on her name, "It means faith, which is kind of ironic in a way. Since I am not even remotely religious, nor would I say putting your faith in somebody that can sing you into oblivion is a particularly good thing to do," she stated with a rather amused chuckle.

Reaching for her drink after the waiter had left, Fe lightly twisted the glass as she spoke, "Tuesday is an interesting name, you don't hear it very often," she mused, "Is it a family name?" she asked her as she picked up her drink and regarded the woman over the rim of her glass.

Tuesday gave a little laugh to join in with Fe in amusement. "Don't think i've ever had someone try to sing me into oblivion before. Guess I'll just have to have faith you won't use it on me. Or at least you'll make it fun if you do," she teased the woman as she leaned in a little. She had no idea what exactly Fe meant by singing someone into oblivion, but she could guess by the phrasing it mean putting someone unconscious or out of it in some way.

Tuesday used her right arm to slide her empty plate over towards the edge of the table. She was done with the food, but apparently not ready to leave now that she had someone to talk to. "No, it's not a given name. I chose it for myself after coming here," she replied calmly and softly gazed back across at the woman. Tuesday wondered how often she sat with someone after her shows just because of something trivial like a free drink.

"I would pretend I could sing too but trust me, it's only good when i'm drunk and everyone else is drunk around me. Only time it seems to work well- or maybe just no one notices how bad it is" There was a grin forming on her face as she made the joke at her own expense. No, her talents were not in that kind of performing. She drew her glass closer again but rather than take a sip she just ran her fingers around the rim of it absently.

"Nice," Fe said with a smile as she listened to the young woman talk, noticing that she had very unusual eye colour, sort of a blue-ish hue, or maybe they were grey... "Was there any reason why you chose Tuesday," she asked curiously, leaning forward a little with clear interest as she sipped her drink.

"Ahh, so you are a member of the drunken karaoke club, I take it?" Fe teased when Tuesday jokingly told her that she only sang when she had been drinking.

(So sorry, this got pushed back and I simply forgot.)
