This was absolutely the most awkward thing Cerra had ever done. The Vampiress was sitting in the waiting area at the front of a restaurant waiting for a Bleedr. This was certainly a mistake, the only reason the Vampire was not walking out of this situation was Creation. In it's way it had told her to do this, to message a Beating Heart and to take blood from them rather than use the blood packs. With her eyes closed and resting her multicolored rainbow hairdo against the wall. So she sat there listening to the Chorus, the Choir, the beautiful chaotic singing of Creation that she had lived with for decades.

It was another few minutes before Cerra in her oddly colored tank top and tight black pants heard the voice of creation to order itself just a little bit. But of course Creation was the glorious chaotic order of the universe so this wasn't to different but it meant that someone else had the gift. Turning her head Cerra turned to see the girl who on the profile picture of the Bleedr account she had been messaging. The Vampire wanted to get this over with. But knowing now this Fair Future coming towards her now had the gift, at least it would be better conversation than what Cerra had originally expected.

Tiffany Fairchild hadn't been able to bring herself to delete her Bleedr after she matched with a vampire and found a boyfriend. The young woman was eager to help anyone and everyone and that's just what she was doing on this app for hungry hungry hippos hungry bloodsucking creatures--helping them get a meal. Even after having matched with someone, her vampire friend had been refraining from taking any more from her and was resorting to blood packs and thermoses. So, when another vampire matched with her (this one a woman), Tiffany was excited. There was no doubt she held a certain admiration for vampires, so helping someone feed wasn't the only reason she was still on this app.

It took Tiffany more time than she thought to get ready, so she was running a few minutes late by the time she got to the restaurant they had agreed to meet at. Her steps were light and her smile bright as she entered and took off her winter jacket to hang up on a nearby coat rack. Her head turned to scan the tables shortly before her body followed after, and she spotted the woman from her Bleedr's profile picture.

"Hey!" she called with a big wave from across the restaurant, earning herself more than a couple stares from the other patrons dining there that day. The girl paid them no mind though and bounded over to her Bleedr's table to take a seat.

The moment she was within range, Tiffany's reverse empathy made a connection.

    [Emotions: perky, excited, energetic]

She offered the vampiress a sweet smile. "You're Cerra, right? That's how it's pronounced? Sorry for making you wait!"

Cerra didn't need to have the connection that Fair Future exuded to know just how... energetic the girl was. The Vampire didn't normally like those who some would say 'Have all the energy' but Creation had made Cerra do this so she was going to stick through it. "It is pronounced as such, Fair Future." Though Cerra did not smile and her tone would probably be described as flat. But she was certainly not glaring and her posture was relaxed and not on guard.

Once both of them were seated Cerra stayed silent for a few moments simply looking at Fair Future's aura of colors. Eventually she spoke up. "Fair Future, do you hear and see Creation? The tides of the future, the call of the past. What could and will be mix with that which will never come?" Cerra was interested on how much this living... person, could see of the Gift of the greatest Artist, Creation.

    [Emotions: ....confusion]

...Cerra had already lost her. Tiffany looked at the woman across from her with a blank stare before she spoke.

"Umm....What?" Tiffany sat there for several moments with that dumb expression as she tried to figure out what was just said to her. Fair future? Creation? Call of the something, tides of the...? Ohhh! Maybe she was talking about her clairvoyance? That was weird; she hadn't put that on her Bleedr! Oh well.

[Emotions: sudden realization, perky, happy, thoughtful]

"Oh! The future? Yes, I'm a clairvoyant! But, my power only lets me see into the future, so I don't really see anything from the past. Unless it's like, on video in the future...That's so weird to think about. That's like timeception. Is that like timeception?"

She shook her head and leaned forward, the smile returning to her once clueless face. "Did you want your future told? I can totally do that for you! What'll it be? Two weeks into the future? Three months? Couple years? Birth of your firstborn?"

The waves of emotions coming off the girl were certainly distracting, but Cerra was more interested in Fair Future's gift and ability rather than her emotions. "To see time within time would certainly be a gift of Creation. I do not need my future told, for my own gift will tell me what needs to be known from the Chorus and Wails of Creation. But I am interested to see what you Fair Future, can see." Cerra leaned forward on the table curiosity glimmering in the Vampire's eyes.

"As I do not have to ability to have a child 'born' of me. A Childe would not be to far from the right word to use. But that is not something I am interested in. I just wish to see how much of the Gift Creation has graced you with. As far as this one as myself is aware, Beating Hearts are not given the True Gift often."

    [Emotions: confused, thoughtful, p-positive?]

Tiffany blinked and tilted her head. "I have no idea what you're asking me to...Did I open the wrong app?" She pulled her phone out just to check, and sure enough the meet-up conversation had happened on Bleedr.

"Are we thinking totally different things? Liiike, I thought you wanted blood, but you actually want...Um. I don't know."

She slipped her phone back into her back pocket and wound a lock of her hair around a finger to keep her hand busy. Her eyes flashed gold with a vision that only lasted a few seconds, and then they were back to blue. Tiffany blinked and stared at Cerra, dumbfounded still about what was going on.

Well, it seemed that Fair Future was having a hard time understanding Cerra's words. That wasn't uncommon, Cerra just thought that since Fair Future had the Gift that she'd also be hearing the Chorus of Creation which would have explained everything to her instead of Cerra needing to actually slow down and not sound like a cryptic Vampiress who doesn't care about the Beating Heart's grammar structures. Sighing Cerra tried to reign in her thoughts to something more akin to a human's 'Normal' speaking words.

"The app is not wrong, I do intend to feed. However it seems that Creation..." Cerra sighed thinking for a moment. "... that more than mere coincidence made me contact you. I too am able to see the vast branching pathway that is the future. It just so happens it seems I just have a larger potential for it."

"Most of the time I am hearing and seeing these futures. All the time, though I do not pay attention to them. But when I saw you in person I could tell that you had the gift and was curious if you would demonstrate your powers to see how much of the Gift you have." Cerra would have been sweating bullets and panting if she had a need to do either with the effort she had just made in trying to talk normal. Hopefully this would get more through without confusing Fair Future any more than she probably already had been.

Tiffany tilted her head, blinked, and then started to laugh.

"Man, I can suddenly understand you a lot easier!" she said innocently. "So you're psychic too, huh? That's pretty cool; I haven't personally met a lot of other psychics. I mean, like, I know there are a few of them in our school, but I haven't ever talked to them past hi, you know?"

Tiffany blabbed on until she giggled again. "Oops! Okay, train's getting back on track. You didn't notice, but I actually did kind of demonstrate just before you said that! But I guess you want to know what I see? Well that time it was a curtain which is soooo not interesting, so III'm going to try again..."

Her blue eyes scanned the area of the restaurant around them and zeroed in on a random nearby person. She glanced back at Cerra and subtly nodded toward the stranger. "Okay, you see that one over there? Human, kind of androgynous, aaand racially ambiguous? Okay, I'm going to try....a month into the future. That's recent enough, right?"

Just as she finished, her eyes started to glow gold again as she focused them back on the person. This time, however, the flash wasn't brief; it looked like she was sticking around a minute or two in silence.

Cerra stayed quiet as Fair Future spoke rapidly and explained to Cerra what she was going to do, the vampire turned and looked over at the person they had pointed out and the distance in time for the glimpse into the person's future. Cerra too delved into that person's future and found it, bland and uninteresting personally. Something to do with a proposal of some sort, maybe a promotion. Or things could turn for the worst and they could get fired. One months worth of choices and Will would push the course that would come. The closer the future the more certain things would become.

However Cerra honestly did not care and she instead turned back to her Bleedr and with half lidded eyes blinked a little trying to indicate that Cerra herself found this whole experience boring. Pausing for a moment again pulling up her own will to push the normal words she wanted to speak out so Fair Future would understand her. "His future is bland and uninteresting, things that a Beating... a Living Person might take interest in but is of no interest to one such as myself."

Sighing Cerra released the tension in her shoulder blades as she finished that statement. At this rate it might just be easier to have Fair Future glimpse the way Cerra saw and heard things. Allowing them to possibly communicate a bit better, though that would make Cerra all that much more Hungry.

Tiffany was leaned back in her chair juuust past three feet away from Cerra, cutting the connection of her reverse empathy. She blinked as her eyes faded from gold to blue, and she smiled.

"Awwh, that's so nice! He's going to get a promotion soon; he looked so happy," she said with a small clap of her hands. "Good for him; he'll be needing it." She glanced back at Cerra and shrugged, still grinning away as she spoke.

"Well I didn't say it was going to be interesting; you asked me to demonstrate my powers aaand I demonstrated! I'm not usually that nosy though; my clairvoyance just triggers when it wants to, but a lot of the times it's pretty useless information like...wood grains in a table. Strangely enough, people here really don't like having their futures looked at, but it's suuuper popular in the Narrow Reality! Most people just think I'm spouting BS though."

She looked all around the restaurant for a waiter, wondering if she could order something now that they'd been seated for a while. Her Glance wasn't too long, nor was it very close to the present, but it still ate at her and made her stomach growl. "Sooo, was that a good enough demonstration?"
