    Appearance Description:
    As a shapeshifter who can shift a lot of aspects of his appearance, Stephan almost never looks his chronological age. Though he tends to keep one base appearance, he shifts according to the age and gender of most of his alternate personalities which come out. Certain traits carry through all personalities. They are always a squishy, slimy, upright-standing humanoid with pasty white skin and all facial features in the usual amount and position. They have yellow-green eyes with vertical pupils, sharp sharklike teeth, and suckers on their limbs/hands/feet. Occasionally, they will shift extra appendages. Stephan has basically the same voice in all shifts, but can have a different accent and tone.

    Stephan's main form, the closest one to being his form, is a slender, athletic male who usually appears in his late 20s-30s, but can look older when he's tired. He's a fairly average height, 5'10", and keeps to regular human limbs for the most part. His short hair varies between pale pink and his more natural ginger colour. Stephan loves Hawaiian shirts and bright colours, and he often wears gloves. He looks generally cheerful with a mild German accent.

    As Sascha, her form is most similar to Stephan's. She generally appears to be somewhere in her late 20s, with a still slender but androgynously feminine build. At 5'6", she's average height for her more female appearance. She also has pinkish hair, which is long and usually done up in a ponytail. In addition to keeping basically human limbs, she often sprouts a long tail. When she gets the opportunity, she dresses tomboyish with a flirty slightly masculine posture. Sascha speaks with confidence, with a mild French accent, and she swears in French.

    When Apollo is out, he tries to be as different from Stephan as possible. He's a tall man, around 6'5" or more, with a muscular build, somewhere in his 20s. His hair is usually short and spiky, but dark blue or black with no hint of pink. Unlike the others, Apollo usually has the extra appendages and claws and looks the most inhuman. But his rage gives him only sporadic control. Usually, he goes shirtless, otherwise dressing all in black. Everything about the man is loud, aggressive, and angry. He has done his best to remove any trace of a German accent, but still swears in German.

    Pauline is the most obviously feminine alter. A willowy, soft woman in her 20s, slightly shorter than Sascha, 5'3", but still average female height. Her hair is long and loose, usually brunette with hints of pink, sometimes full ginger. She occasionally sprouts an extra arm or two, but generally sticks to human limbs and doesn't grow claws. Pauline likes pastel clothes and dresses, but none of the others do, so she doesn't often get the chance to wear them. Soft spoken when she speaks at all, she will usual write what she wants to say. She has one of the thickest German accents aside from the German.

    The youngest in appearance, Sepp looks like a mostly human 6 year old boy of average height, 3'10", and build for his apparent age. He has a mop of ginger hair, and he enjoys having a tail or sprouting extra limbs and wall crawling for play. Sepp doesn't really have a clothing preference, wearing whatever the others put on, but he doesn't like girly clothes. Often, he can be seen carrying around a toy he likes. Sepp's voice is childlike and has an odd faint accent that's a mix of French and German, but he mostly speaks English.

    The second youngest in appearance, Joseph looks like a slightly older, more serious version of Sepp, ranging from 8-12, with an average height for his age, around 4'7" give or take. He is lean and wiry with a neat mop of ginger hair. Joseph sticks to human form as much as possible, but will shift as necessary when fighting, and he also has no real clothing preference. He tends to wear neutral clothes that are comfortable and convenient. The child soldier, he carries himself more militarily than a kid should. He tends to have a very polite way of speaking, with a moderate German accent. Sometimes, when he's happy, Joseph's grin is childlike.

    Overseer comes out very rarely and doesn't shift appearance. They speak in an androgynous neutral monotone with no particular accent, and they are calm and expressionless.

    The German, or Fall Gold Sechzehn as he calls himself, can't shift. He has to fight just to stay out, periodically loses control of his limbs, and has trouble walking. The German only speaks German.

    Personality Description:
    Stephan is a former child soldier and lab experiment who mostly remembers his time being raised in an eldritch cult that was more of a family or community. He doesn't consider himself an old man or a fighter, relating best to eldritch beings and children. Acclimatized to violence, slow to trust, with undercurrents of fear and timidness, Stephan is a cheerful, friendly, empathetic man in spite of his past.

    Stephan is quite adaptable, but still knows to leave situations if he starts feeling overwhelmed. Even though he actually has the best control of his abilities, he prefers to stay as close to human as possible. An intelligent introvert, when he's not working, Stephan enjoys reading about psychology, doing nature photography, creating charcoal drawings of marine life, and just quietly chatting with people and drinking tea. His only pets are his wide variety of goldfish. Stephan would like to have kids of his own some day, but would prefer to have a partner first and hasn't found a match yet.

    As the main personality of a group of multiple personalities or alters, all the others are aspects of Stephan that he's compartmentalized for one reason or another, but not actually fully developed people. He can access any of these aspects without actually switching, and is stable and mostly integrated, though his memory, especially of the worst trauma, remains somewhat spotty. He is in control of the switching, never letting the others out at work, and with enough training to be able to remember what happens when they are out and keep them to a schedule, taking back control if needed.

    A genderfluid, female-presenting, tomboyish lesbian, Sascha is most similar to Stephan, just more feminine and confident. Sascha is flirty, more extroverted, and bolder, less uncomfortable with shifting if it's practical. Aside from her appearance, it's hardest to tell when Sascha is out because she's more like Stephan getting a confidence boost when changing sexes.

    The protector/prosecutor of the alters, Apollo took the worst of the abuse, and has the best memory of events. A murderous rage who's mad at the world. Like anger can be, he's the hardest to control, violent, selfish, and entitled, uncaring what others think, often taking over in high stress situations. Apollo is the most aggressive fighter, and most inclined to take advantage of his alien nature, trying to be the strongest, but he only has sporadic control of his abilities due to being over-emotional. He does what he wants, unafraid to lie, steal, or kill, and always wants to be out more, rebellious at being just an alter.

    The mother figure, Pauline is Stephan's female side, feminine, modest, obedient, and quiet. Content to stay in background, she tends to be forgettable, timid, afraid, and untrusting. She often apologizes for Apollo's behaviour because she also took a lot of the abuse and has a good memory of it. Pauline is the comforter, most likely to use telepathic abilities, and selectively mute.

    Stephan's inner child, Sepp acts roughly 6 years old, with spotty memories of everything and absolutely no memories of the time before the eldritch cult. A sweet, innocent, naive, and trusting little boy, his times being out are heavily filtered and always closely supervised.

    The good child soldier, Joseph is Stephan if he'd never grown up past the soldier stage, and has Stephan's original name. Somewhere around 8-12, the boy is a child wise beyond his years, but still a child. Most of his memories are from being a soldier, but sheltered from the experimentation/killing aspects. He has spotty memories of everything else, and adult aspects are censored so he retains some innocence. He's cautious, polite, and obedient to authority, having a healthy curiousity, but thinking before he acts. He tends to act as a mediator. Joseph is good at reconnaissance, ability control, and combat, since he's the one with most of the training experience.

    One of the alters who only comes out to talk rarely and doesn't use their abilities, Overseer organizes the others, and does not communicate directly with Stephan, beefing more of an extension or personification of Stephan's ability to compartmentalize. They appear to the other alters as the one in charge of who comes out when, under Stephan's direction, a buffer between all the personalities, and the children's censor. Overseer is also the only one in direct communication with the Alien. They are ageless, neuter, logical, and emotionless.

    The only alter deliberately created via brainwashing, Fall Gold Sechzehn is completely loyal to the second lab and wants to return. He uses his codename when referring to himself, but the others only call him the German or the enemy. Due to his nature as something foreign, there's a mutual antagonism between him and the other alters. He can only wrestle for control briefly, has no access to any abilities, and tends to lose control of his limbs when he does get out. Fall Gold Sechzehn is a somewhat masochistic young adult male of ambiguous age who only speaks German and has no memories before he was made in the second lab.

    Not actually an alter in the same way as the others, the Alien is the eldritch DNA with a limited sort of sentience. Internal only, it only communicates via Overseer, mostly to help with powers and enable understanding of Eldritch.

    Active Abilities:
    Telepathic Bonding - Can form two-way bonds with others via touch to communicate telepathically and locate each other. Can form bonds with eldritch beings within 5 feet without touch. Can also tag people without forming a bond so he can locate them. Has to be touching/in range for only a second for each hour he wants the bond to last, but recipient can stop it at any time before that. For tags they last a minute per each second of contact. The bonds work anywhere on the planet. Tags only about 100 miles. Can only form 3 bonds, 4 tags at a time, anything more than that won't stick. Can only communicate through one bond at a time, and only track two tags at a time. Can't bond with someone unwilling, but can tag. Tag can be shaken off with high willpower, if the tagged becomes aware of it, and wears off quicker with resistance.

    Malleable Form - Takes a couple seconds to sprout extra appendages. Appendages can't be longer than half of height. They can also sprout no more than three extra appendages, 7 total. Having a limb removed lowers amount that can be sprouted, unless limb is reattached. Limbs must sprout from torso. Can shift no taller than 7 feet, no shorter than 3 feet. Giving themselves muscles does not noticeably affect their strength. They remain humanoid, though their build can be masculine or feminine. Can change hair colour and length, and facial features, but not skin, eyes, teeth, tongue, or sprouting extra sensory organs. Appendages can be tentacles, tails, fleshy wings, legs with feet (up to 5 toes per foot) or arms with hands (up to 5 fingers per hand.) Can form claws (sharp enough to slice through tough leather) on fingers or toes or not, but can't make them longer than 1 inch or form intricate shapes. Wings do not enable flight. All appendages have suckers. Can be pretty much any age or sex, but is not able to have children, and is internally male.

    Passive Abilities:
    Life Sense - All minds produce a mental buzz. Non-sentient animals are like quiet static. Sentient minds are like chatter, but any words are indecipherable. 50' range on non-sentient, but all sounds the same. 25' on sentient, can recognize people by their chatter with familiarity - acts as a mental signature. Hears through obstacles. Can be blocked by those immune to telepathy.

    Eldritch DNA - Can perceive eldritch beings without harm and any eldritch mental affects are 1/2 as effective.

    Physiology - Requires only about 100 calories a day to survive, but can eat much more than that without getting fat. Has no bones, making him quite flexible and squishy, able to squeeze through incredibly small spaces. Given the time, he could fit himself through a hole the size of a quarter. He is elastic and not easily torn, with a grip that cannot be broken by anything less than someone with super strength. He can feel pain, but is not damaged by blunt force, pressure, or falls. Has sharp teeth that can bite through tough leather. Can breathe underwater.

    Wall Crawler - Suckers on appendages have a strong enough suction to allow him to crawl along any surface up to and including glass, even along ceilings, as long as he isn't carrying anything. Can climb about 5mph.

    Enhanced Speed - Average running and top swimming speed of 20mph.

    Extended Lifespan - Ages about 10x slower than a normal human. Could live about 1000 years.

    Enhanced healing - Wounds heal rapidly but can't regenerate. Cuts in seconds. Major wounds in less than an hour. If limbs are reattached in certain time, he can reconnect them fully. Must be drinking liquid to heal.

    Disease/Poison Resistance - Half as likely to contract any diseases. Takes half as much damage from diseases or poison.

    Weaknesses:
    Weakness to fire - Fire does twice the damage. Burns heal half as slow as a regular human.

    Weakness to electricity - Targeted electric attacks within 5 feet of him will hit him. Electric burns heal half as slow as a regular human.

    Acid vulnerability - Acids burn through his flesh twice as fast as normal and even a small drop feels like agony.

    Physically weak - 1/2 as strong as an average human when it comes to carry weight and punch force.

    Thirsty - Needs about 4 litres of water a day to stay healthy. Feels dehydrated sooner and will die of thirst twice as fast as a regular human.

    Biography:
    Born to an experimenter in Nazi Germany, and named Joseph, Stephan was raised normally until he was about two. He was a sickly child, who his parents didn't think would survive much longer. So he was given some experimental love eldritch DNA. This changed him into something not quite human, so his father gave him to be trained as a child soldier, mostly for reconnaissance. When the brainwashing started, Stephan mentally splintered to deal with it. He joined a platoon of other child soldiers at 5 years old, the baby of the group. He did not have a solid childhood, but because of his father he was treated better than some of the others.

    When Brünhild told him about escaping, he wasn't sure at first, but he changed his mind when the project was cancelled and their group was set to be killed.

    At 8 years old, Stephan successfully escaped one group only to be recaptured by another lab for more brutal experimentation as part of a project called Fall Gold. He was there for eight more years, mostly being tortured to see how he worked.

    This time he didn't escape, but was rescued at 16 years old by one of the Fall Gold experimenters who had just gotten caught up in an eldritch cult and recognized his look. The head of this cult was an eldritch being who took him in, the members a mix of predominately high class Germans, with some English and French. They were more of a large family, a clan, or group of companions interested in knowledge than an actual cult, and they took care of Stephan, trained him, retaught him almost from scratch, and helped him become mostly mentally stable. It was during this time he picked a new name. He stayed for 30ish years, a mix of homeschool, high school, and some college with heavy makeup to cover skin. It was an oddly normal life, with occasional temper tantrums from Apollo and the German. At some point, Stephan went into psychology because he's fascinated by the mind.

    Eventually, the eldritch head of the cult, who had known about Manta Carlos for awhile, decided Stephan was stable enough and offered him a chance to go.

    On Manta Carlos, he went through college and retrained as a child psychologist specifically. He has currently been on the island 35ish years. He is open about the eldritch cult and having multiple personalities, but doesn't make a big deal of it.

    The Alien - Appeared when the eldritch DNA was injected. Mostly in background. Gained more experience during time with eldritch cult.

    Overseer - One of the first fully developed personalities. Developed even more as other alters were formed. Didn't start coming out until eldritch cult. Rarely comes out at all.

    Apollo & Pauline - The twins appeared around the same time between start of first brainwashing and joining platoon. Pauline a little after Apollo. Pauline tends to follow Apollo, but appears less often. Apollo takes over in the midst of battle and was almost constantly out during extra post child soldier experimentation. Apollo was out less often during time with eldritch cult. Apollo comes out in response to the German and is most responsible for keeping him submerged. Apollo still has occasional temper tantrums, but is mostly stuck to the schedule now. Pauline is fine with coming out less to give the others more time.

    Joseph - Appeared just before joining platoon. Was out the most during platoon years from 5-8 and early eldritch cult years. Came out very rarely during the 2nd experimentation years. Often out during physical training.

    The German - Appeared at 2nd lab, was actually deliberately made via brainwashing. Had most control at 2nd lab while everyone else was submerged. Out very rarely after that and only in bursts. Has been almost completely submerged.

    Sepp - Appeared when introduced to eldritch cult. Out the most in early years with cult. Gets his chance to play when things look safe.

    Sascha - Appeared in college during eldritch cult time. Tends to come out when he was nervous about flirting or social things.

    Resources: Lives in a small house. Makes money as a psychologist and has decent savings. Has a lot of goldfish.

    Additional Information:
    Is referred to by school, but works separately. Fully trained clinical psychologist.

    Specializes in alien psychology, trauma in young children, and adapting to society.

    From most to least often out: Stephan (Main). Joseph. Sascha. Apollo. Sepp. Pauline. Overseer. The German.
