For the better part of the day Tengu was zipping about making hasty delivery routes through the city. This was nothing compared to the holiday rush but delivering packages kept her busy for the past few hours. But the work day was coming off to an end, all that was left was to deliver this rest package and she can go back to her home and recharge. Or maybe go see a movie on her way back home? Say hi to an friend? Pester Jackal about how he and his boyfriend were doing? Well whatever comes next would have to wait until she hands off this last package and maybe chat a bit with customer before flying of to adventures unknown. This particular package was somewhat more heavier than she was used to and that made Tengu curious on what it was she was delivering.

Anyway, Tengu scanned below her specialize eyes and quickly picked out the address. If she remembered this apartment complex correctly there was quirky lizard dude that lived in that the address but it has been years since that visit so there could be a new tenet. Or maybe she was mistake once again, she didn't have the best memory but only one way to know for sure!

Tengu begins her slow decent, the whirling of her jet engines quite until they were soft hum as she hovers just above the ground. Once in front of the door she cuts the engines and lands with load thump. Her bladed talons clack on the pavement with each step until she steps upon the welcoming mat, or at least where one would be if it was present. With the package now held between the wrist of her wings and putting on a friendly smile, she brings up one of her legs and presses the buzzer for the door with careful press of one of her toes. With the door bell rung she quickly returns the foot back to the ground and waits for the door to open.

For a few weeks now Geo had been having a bit of issues with her hand, it was freezing up on her or moving when she did not want it to, and she had decided to do something about it. After a quick diagnostic the cybernetic organism had come to the conclusion that repairs could be completed without having to hunt down someone else to do it for her. What she would need though were a few parts and to do some wire work as well.

Some of the parts she had to fabricate herself but the ones she could she ordered off a computer with connection to the human's internet. They had given a time for delivery, days it would seem, and that time was drawing near. They could not however give an exact time for when it would show up, just a generalization, so Geo got on with her daily routine.

Today in her free time the android was doing some of the minor wire work and soldering while she waited for some of the final parts to come in to complete the rest of the work on her hand. This meant that she had to have the flesh of the hand parted while using surgical instruments to expose the internal mechanical components and stop any bleeding. She had lost all track of time as she commenced work until there was a ring of the doorbell.

Without thinking Geo stood and walked over to the entrance to her apartment and opened the door, not realizing what a site she must has been as the cybernetic organism was still wearing the soldering goggles, with one hand exposing the mechanical inner bits and the other still holding the soldering iron.

“Yes, may I help you?” she asked, tilting her head to the side before noticing both the uniform and the parcel being held. “Ah, those must be my parts. The timing could not have been better!”

"Hello miss! Here with your pack- oh I remember your face!" exclaimed Tengu as she suddenly recalled meeting this person before in the community center! It was months ago. Though she may have had poor memory and big googles threw her off for a moment, she rarely forgot a face of anyone whom she has met!

"Your that really cool lady from the community center whom is cyborg like me right? Here I thought this was meant for this one really quirky lizard dude whom I thought lived here but... oh well! Anyway, nice to see you again." chimed Tengu forgetting that she was suppose to be delivering a package to the woman she looked down to the package held between her wings.

"Oh right! Your parts. Well before I can hand them over I am just going to need you sign a few quick things before-" it is then Tengu glances at her hands and realized they seemed.... preoccupied "Oh! Uh... see that your bit busy with your hands there... everything okey there?"

Tengu then gives the woman a peculiar look, one that was neither alarmed nor horrified but merely concerned.

“Actually I am not really a cyborg” she said in reply to the woman's question. “I am a cybernetic organism, living tissue bonded over a metal endoskeleton. I believe on this planet they have some sort of entertainment video with a similar life form. Or so I am always told.”

Geo once again tilted her head to the side as the postal woman gave her a strange look and asked if everything was okay. It took a second before the android realized what was going on. She had the soldering iron in one hand, and the other was opened up exposing the mechanical bits underneath.

“Oh, yes. My apologies, I was doing some minor repair work until the rest of the parts came in.” She looked back inside and then back to the woman in front of her. “Give me a moment to put some of this away and I will sign whatever is necessary.”

Walking in Geo placed the soldering iron back on it's stand and set the goggles down on the table before returning to the door. She kept her other hand as is since she now had the parts when this was completed she could just finish up the repair work once and for all. When she got back to the door Geo gave the postal worker her best apologetic smile, which in of itself was not that good as she had little practice of being social outside of a work environment.

“I was not expecting delivery at this time so I started the work,” she held up the hand that had been opened up, flexing her fingers. As she did the mechanical parts inside also moved, but it was evident that some of them were sticking or not functioning properly. “At least with these parts I should have my hand back in working order.”

After a brief pause the alien android blinked.

“Oh, right. You mentioned that I had to sign a few things?”

"Ohh... so instead of Robocop your more like the Terminator! And by that I mean the good one from the second one and not the evil one!" blurted out Tengu, having some familiarity of cybernetic beings portrayed in the media.

Once the lady had explained they were fixing up their hand, all her initial worries vanished. Being a bit of a high-maintenance gal herself, she understood what it was like to have always having to address repairs. Even if it was bit of grizzly sight, Tengu figured they of all people knew their inner workings the best.

"Sure thing! Take your time." said Tengu as she waited for the woman to set their belongings down. In the meantime Tengu hummed the tune of song whom's lyrics she had long forgot. She bobs her head from side to side, humming that same old tune, until the lady returns with smile on her face.

"Well at least you were here to it to sign off on it, that way you dont have to worry about package thieves. And sounds like it came at the perfect time too since your just starting on your repairs! Its nice when things work out like that. Sometimes I have to wait weeks for certain part to be fabricated and it always just sucks when you just waiting on one little thing. Well I hope you will be running as good as new once you get this piece install."

Tengu beamed a smile to the lady, having so much fun relating to her about waiting on mechanical parts she half forgot the documents they were suppose to sign off on until the lady mentioned it.

"Oh yes! Let me get that out for ya" Tengu sets the package down by their feet and fishes out clipboard from the canvas bag that hangs on her side. Once the tiny mechanical fingers grabs hold she then hold the clipboard and points to the bottom of the paper with wrist of her other wing.

"Here you are. Just need a signature in the box just at the bottom of the form there with that pen on the side and you should be good to go Miss..." Tengu then quickly scanned the form, picking out only the name "Geo" on the form "... Geo is it?"

Geo had no idea about good or bad terminators or this Robocop but made note she would have to look up more Earth media to better aquatint herself with them, even more so if people felt the need to continually make references at her.

"I am not sure what a Robocop is, but I was originally designed as a prototype law enforcement unit." She paused for a second before going on. "That program has been retired though."

The way this one went on speaking, so energetic and honest, made the android smile ever so slightly. Usually people who talked more then needed annoyed her but with this small cyborg the android felt it was actually rather endearing.

Geo waited while the other pulled out the clipboard for her to sign and then nodded.

"Yes that is correct." she took the clipboard and began to sign. "Though technically my full name is Prototype Enforcement Droid T-750-101 I felt that people would have a difficult time remembering that."

"Oh Robocop is from an older movie about police officer who was turned into prototype crime fighting unit after tragic case of being shot a whole bunch. So... I guess there is comparison to be made. Never actually saw the whole thing, just a few clips online to try to understand the reference when some customers bring it up." answered Tengu. The cybernetic harpy then listened in as Geo goes on to say what their actual name was to which she agreed that it would have been far to cumbersome for most people say. Let alone remember.

"Oh wow... that is quite a mouthful to have to say all the time. I know I would have trouble trying to remember so its good thing you just go by Geo then. Its a pretty nice name I think." complimented Tengu as she waits for Geo finish up signing up all the standard forms for the release of the package.

"So now that your retired from the force, what do you do instead? Any hobbies?" asked Tengu, whom can't help be a little curious about this woman. After all, what does a former robotic space cop do for fun?

"I will have to view these films myself one day so I may also get the reference." She would too, there was a list of movies to watch and books to read that the android had started when she came to this planet.

As far as what she called herself now Geo never actually thought much about her chosen name, it had been a simple numerical to alphabetical swap using the Terran standard alphabet, but he had become accustomed to it over the years. She was about to say as much before the question came up of what she does now.

"As far as work went I became a mercenary for a while before singing up with a crew that brought me to this planet. Now I simply work in security" she paused for a moment and tilted her head to the side. "As far as hobbies I guess trying to understand more about this planets culture, entertainments, and how organic minds work. It is not a simple task for me, there thought patterns seem so erratic most of the time."

Geo realized that while she was talking she had forgot about signing the paper that had been presented to her and quickly added her name and the current date to the form in the appropriate places.
