This creature was easy to treat, it didn't panic or flail or resist and simply accepted what Kahi was doing to it. It was bit concerning, and if Kahi could speak to the creature she would've warned it about accepting help from strangers too readily. But lucky for the creature Kahi wasn't aggressive, and she began thinking about the next step.

When the creature tried to prop itself up Kahi trilled angrily and nudged for it to lie back down. The creature was in no condition to try and move, it needed to stay still and rest up. Sadly Kahi couldn't exactly say all of this to it, so she made do with looking at the creature sternly while raising a claw and trying to motion "Stay still".

Corvian and Kahi were thinking of the same thing, what to do now. Kahi couldn't leave this creature here, and Kahi couldn't help it any further. If it were the case with her own kind she would give them to a healer, a human one or one of her own kind's. But Kahi was no healer, she was a hunter and a fighter. Maybe this island had healers somewhere, but Kahi wasn't the right one to look for them. She had barely scouted the forest.
    Perhaps...
Kahi flew over to where the creature's face was and landed on her back feet, beginning to pantomime the words "I...go...find...someone". Because that was the best way to help this creature. Bring it to someone of it's own kind.

Unfortunately Corvian had a much harder time understanding what the small dragon was trying to communicate this time. She'd squint at the tiny creature, her head still being light and little blurry, though she believed it was starting to clear. The strange dragon had proven to be trustworthy, much more so than Lynn had been.

So in the end the sheep girl would simply nod in agreement, she didn't have much choice in the matter. Her life was in her hands, for now she'd go along with whatever plan the small animal had for her.

She'd wiggle her finger at the small dragon, closest thing to gratitude she could show at the moment. Once she left she'd lay back, resting her head in the grass, thinking about everything that'd happened to her lately.

Even though Kahi doubted the creature had understood what she had tried to communicate it didn't seem distrustful. Kahi read the small finger wiggling gesture as a goodbye, and she wiggled her claws similarly back at the creature. And then Kahi sped off, heading in the direction where she more often saw other people and it was the direction with the human residences, that she had escaped from.

As Kahi suspected, it didn't take long for her to find a person, apparently walking a strange creature that barked at everything that moved. Kahi had seen them before, apparently some people kept them as companions. But Kahi put that aside, and instead she flew closer, close enough for the barking animal to take notice of her. And as the owner turned to see what was making their companion bark this time they also saw Kahi. It made her uncomfortable to be seen by someone, but that wasn't important now. A life was on the line here. So Kahi screeched, and made the barking companion chase her on purpose. This way the owner had to come along, since they probably wanted to keep their pet.

Kahi tempted and teased the barker, so it kept at chasing her, and the owner came along as well. Thankfully the way wasn't too long, just few miles, and when Kahi knew they were getting close she dove into the bushes and let the barker find his way over to the wounded creature.
