It was Wren's first time in the library on this new island. Was she here to study? To meet up with people and work on an assignment? Or to do some good, old-fashioned reading? The answer to all of these suggestions was no. She was here to liven up the place. Earlier, she had secured a chair, one with wheels that could roll her around, and she had positioned herself - in the chair, of course - at the very end of the library, away from the check-in/out desk. Her back was turned to a pathway between lines and lines of books; she was facing towards a window and had her feet placed against the wall. Well, it was time to get started.

With as much force as she could, she pushed herself away from the wall and let the chair roll her between the books. In her hands, she had two water resistant markers, one red and one black, and he was marking the backs of all books that she passed. This was beyond satisfying. Maybe she should invite Allen next time, do double the damage. But the downside was that they would be caught twice as fast too. She didn't know much about this library, so this first prank was more of a bit scouting out than anything else. Allen would forgive her for a few drinks, surely.

Wren defiled a few more rows of books in this fashion; at one point she even attempted to stand on the chair to reach another row of books. However, as she attempted to push herself away from the wall, she was already unsteady and Wren toppled over onto the floor (luckily taking some books with her as she desperately waved her arms around), with an undignified scream. The markers also dropped from her hands and rolled towards the chair. Sht. Wren cursed internally. She had taken it one step too far. And now she had it coming; she already heard some goody two shoes alerting the librarian. Of course. There were always nerds around, ridiculous.

But as Wren scrambled to sit up straight and tried to come up with a believable story, suddenly, there was no need to save her own butt anymore. Because magically - as if she had any good karma to redeem with the gods - someone had appeared and ploofed into the chair. Wow. Wasn't it the girl from art class? She didn't seem to know what was going on. Oh man, this couldn't have been more perfect. As students arrived, Wren put on a shocked face and managed to get some fake tears in her eyes. 'What do you think you're doing?!' she said, accusing the girl in front of her. 'You hit me! And.. the books!' she pointed at the defiled books and onlookers followed her pointing finger, which led to a few gasps in the audience. Good, very good. If the girl she was trying to frame would just be stunned silent for a little longer, it would be child's play getting out of this jam.

Deep breaths, deep breaths, calm down calm down calm down, everything will be alright, deepbreaths deepbreaths deepbreaths, staycalmstaycalmstaycalmcalmdowncalmdownohgodohgodohgod---

She was losing control, all she could do was pray.

    Please. Not. Too.

    Far.
    God.

---There she was, flung into an unfamiliar scene once again, with her limbs flailing around for a grip, reaching. She found an arm and instinctively grabbed it. Her back crashed into something, her butt landed on a hard bump. The chair moved with her, dragging the arm she was holding onto with her. She fell backwards, the chair coming down with her, her head banging on the floor as she went down. Lorelei blinked a few times, taking in the ornately decorated ceiling of the library. Her mind was still racing from the previous events and she clenched her fists trying to calm down. While the second fall definitely hadn't helped her stress levels, she at least landed in a safe, quiet environment.

    --- you're ok, you're ok, ok? ok. ---

She almost believed it, until she heard a loud, dramatic voice. She wasn't alone. Lorelei's hands shot up to her crotch, pushing on the fabric of her long white skirt to cover herself up, as she tried to scramble up from the chair as dignified as possible. She crawled on to the floor, kneeling down with her long skirt pooling around her legs. The girl looked up at the drama in front of her and couldn't believe her eyes. ''N-no, wait, this must be a misunderstanding,'' she stuttered, holding up her hands and shaking them profusely. Where had all these people come from so quickly, had they seen her appear out of nowhere, had they come to investigate? Tears shot into the corners of her eyes. She didn't understand half of what was going on. ''I, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to hit you, I fell,'' she apologized, turning to the art class girl with a look of pleading. Please don't be mad.

HAHA, her mad genius was undeniable, as you could see in this totally planned out and perfect plan. Wren couldn't deny that she felt a little bad for .. Loli? Lolly? Lorry- as she accussed her of outlandish crimes, but just the fact that everything was working in her favour was so beautiful she couldn't help herself. Surely Lorry would forgive her and understand that all of this was necessary in her quest to bring mayhem upon this island. Sorry not sorry.

Some people had gathered around them and they were gaping at the damage that the books had suffered. A few had cracked spines, others hung sadly out of the shelves, only balancing on half of their cover. And the markers, the beautiful marker colours.. Wren had to try her hardest to look shocked and terrified. But as Wren took in Lorry's face, she began to realize the next problem. Lorry would deny any and all charges against her (so rude) and that would lead to some more investigation. People would then realize Lorry had never entered the library, whereas Wren, the one who had discovered the crime scene and was therefore a prime suspect, had entered it just around the time this whole incident occurred. Hmm. Sometimes, Wren almost thought about what a waste it was that she didn't use these cognitive capacities on her actual school work, but she never quite got around to caring about that. Instead, she'd rather use her brain for fun.

Wren decided to switch things around drastically again, before people would connect the dots that even her mediocre IQ brain could connect. As Lorry apologized again and again, Wren shook her head and approached the girl, extending a hand to help her up. 'Hey, hey, it's okay,' she assurred her, grabbing Lorry's hand as quickly as she could. She squeezed it reassuringly too - if you sign up for an act you have to go all in. 'Come, I'll take you to the principal so you can explain what happened,' Wren said, with a wink that was meant for Lorry, so she would know Wren was trying to bail her (aka Lorry AND herself) out. Wren smiled innocently to the onlookers and the librarian, the latter of whom was still standing still in complete shock. This was the opportunity she had been looking for. 'Come,' Wren urged Lorry, and quick-walked towards the exit with the girl. Hopefully she was too confused to ask any real questions that the smarter kids would pick up on. Libraries were hotspots for nerds after all, they needed to be careful.

Once the large library door slammed shut behind them, Wren pulled Lorry a little farther out of reach and then let go of her hand. She smiled at the girl as reassuringly as she could - although she could not stop herself from looking arrogantly impressed with herself. 'Don't worry we're not really going to the principal,' she now told Lorry. 'You're welcome,' she dared to add, as if it wasn't her fault in the first place. She could only hope Lorry didn't have the guts to insinuate Wrens involvement. 'That was a whole weird situation, given that you knocked me over and all,' Wren laughed, while rubbing her head to imply some sort of injury. 'I was just picking out a book too.. But I guess you can't help it, so you're forgiven.' If she was even a little bit right about Lorry, this should work to convince her. Otherwise, she would hear the protest soon enough - and she could just threaten the petite girl with some, um, violent persuasion?, should it come to anything other than her desired outcome. Wren was feeling confident about this one. 'So, do you need to go to the infirmary or something? You really took a hit!' Why? Because nice people couldn't possibly do horrible things. It was soppy beyond words, but it was also the perfect alibi. And Wren was curious about the amusement this new toy could bring her - maybe she didn't have to come up with ridiculous plans all day long by herself, after all!
